This workshop is aimed at teaching participants the complexities of stitching animals and learning to shape them so they look three dimensional and lifelike.
The embroidery is stitched in gum nut yarn silk threads on 55 count Kingston linen. The panel features a lion stitched in needlelace surrounded by flowers, plants, insects and small creatures.
$40.00 (Students who have done the casket and have most of the threads) – Kit contains pattern with detailed instructions for the project, colour photo, 55 count Kingston linen printed and prepared with backing, Gumnut Yarn “stars” threads for lion and beads.
$60.00 (Students who have not done the casket and need all of the threads)- Kit contains pattern with detailed instructions for the project, colour photo, 55 count Kingston linen printed and prepared with backing, Gumnut Yarn “stars” threads and beads required to work project.
Kit Fees need to be paid in cash on the first day to the hostess/tutor.
