May 3 - October 31 2020
Place Guild House, 565 Canning Highway, Alfred Cove
Time 9:00 am
The Guild is introducing a new feature to help occupy us in these unbelievable times…. a free project, online only, changing each month….
And now, Just in time for Mother’s Day!
Embroider a heart, take a photograph, then send it to those we cannot visit. Love and a virtual hug all stitched up.
Finally, when our isolation is lifted, a display at Guild House, fill our headquarters with colour!
This is open to everyone and will not be judged.
Thank you to Rita Petters for this month’s inspired stitching. Shown here the hearts in pale pink in worked in Hardanger, pale gold in gold trellis couching and silk ribbon, Cream with red flower is Brazilian stitch, and Dark purple heart is free motion machine stitching in metallic thread.
Please share your progress by posting a photo as a comment under the May event on our Facebook page or Instagram (remember to tag @embroiderersguildofwa).
Cost $0.00 (Members), $0.00 (Non-Members)
