Hussif using Linen Stitches

Tutor Alison Snepp

April 24 - 26 2018
Place Albany Primary School, Suffolk St.,, Albany
Time 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Using an interesting range of counted thread stitches in both usual and unusual structures, students will stitch a cylindrical hussif on 25-count unbleached linen (provided with the workshop folio) using one variegated silk thread and several stranded cottons. The hussif is 12cm x 5cm in size and is trimmed with a handmade button and buttonhole loop. This class is lots of fun, not a lot of work and very rewarding to stitch! This class is an intermediate level and students should have some experience of counted thread embroidery on linen fabric.

Kit Cost

$ 33.00 for your workshop folio containing a piece of 25-count even weave linen, full colour instructions, working charts and finishing notes. Please put this into an envelope, with your own name on the outside and give it to Alison at the workshop.
