Note: This is a continuation from the previous week’s session.
If you have ever admired a beautiful piece of stumpwork embroidery, but not known where to start, then this is your chance to learn the basics of a wonderfully versatile style of embroidery.
While stitching this gorgeous little flower, you will learn all the techniques necessary to create this Native Australian Iris. Stem stitch leaves, raised and whipped flower stalks, delicate little detached woven picots and needle painting. Most importantly I will be teaching you how to make and attach the wired detached leaf, petals and butterfly wings.
No additional fees will be collected for this session.
