May 4 - 6 2018
Place Guild House, 565 Canning Highway, Alfred Cove
Time 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
This option is only for those who have done a previous beading class with Margaret.
It includes more advanced techniques focusing on design and colour play. Knowledge of the fundamentals of Japanese bead embroidery will be assumed for those undertaking this project.
The sample project is an evening purse. Participants may also convert this to other project styles (e.g. eyeglass case or box top) You will be guided on how to adapt this design to other projects in class.
For continuing students who have done previous work with Margaret and who wish to progress to more challenging levels, please advise the Guild and Margaret will contact you to discuss your options and choices.
A framing session will be held on Tuesday afternoon 1 May. The exact time will be included on the Requirements List. It is important to attend this so that class time can be devoted to embroidery. Japanese frames will be available for purchase from the Guild at the framing session for $60. Please indicate on your enrolment form if you need a frame.
Send a completed enrolment form with the full fee or a non-refundable $20 deposit (by cheque, money order or credit card details), and a business sized stamped self-addressed envelope to:
