Who can resist the alluring sparkle and infinite palette of beautiful beads? This year, Margaret offers a beaded purse which can also be adapted into an iPhone case if you prefer. This project is suitable for all levels and you will learn bead embroidery that is done using time honoured techniques of Japanese embroidery.
A Japanese bead embroidery book, the first of its kind in English, authored by Margaret is due for release in July 2017.

Important: For continuing students who have done previous work with Margaret and who wish to progress to more challenging levels, please advise the Workshop Registrar, Liz Robson, and Margaret will contact you to discuss your options and choices.
Option 2 -Florentine
This project include more advanced techniques including raised effects in 3 different techniques and handling complicated shapes .
Participants have the option to make this project into a coin purse, use it to decorate a box to grace your home or make it a glamorous evening bag. Margaret will show you how.
A framing session will be held on Tuesday afternoon 1 August. The exact time will be included on the Requirements List. It is important to attend this so that class time can be devoted to embroidery.
Coin Purse: $78.00 including purse frame
Box top: $68.00 excluding box. Please bring measurement of your box top with you.
Evening Purse: $125.00 including purse frame.
