Peacock Splendour

The design features a peacock surrounded by scrolls of gold, stitched in Gum Nut yarn “Stars” silks on 55 count Kingston linen. Stitches used are raised stem band, fly stitch, satin stitch, chain and heavy chain stitch. Students will be working stitches on a sample before going onto the main project.

The class is suitable for all levels students covering all the techniques needed to stitch the piece. The piece for this class can be framed or mounted on the lid of a box.

This event is being held in conjunction with the ‘Elizabethan Peacock and Floral Scrolls’ workshop.

Kit $46.00 - Kit contains pattern with detailed instructions and colour photos, 55 count Kingston linen printed with design and prepared with backing, Mill Hill beads, Swarovski crystals, YLI gold and Gum Nut Yarn “stars” silks required to finish the project.
